Michael body surfing! Larry is really getting good with his camera!
Spent the first part of the week at Holden Beach Pier and Campground, not much to look at, but the beach was amazing and Larry and Michael enjoyed swimming. The pier was pretty cool, especially the pictures Larry took from underneath! Other than the refrigerator going out, we had a good time relaxing.... now we have taken the camper to be repaired; not only did the refrigerator go out but the air mattress lost air when Michael tried to lay on it. Oh well, we will miss our camper for a bit but as long as it's under warranty we will take advantage of that!

College traveler on the way to Germany!
Stephen is on his way to Germany for three weeks! How exciting for him! He is going with several other students and learn about Germany's religious views, and several other topics. they will visit a monestary in Germany.... I am so excited for him...
Larry and I met with Dale and Michelle at Cracker Barrel for breakfast/lunch, however it was not a happy experience!
We waited for over 35 minutes for our order - which is very unusual for Cracker Barrel, so after speaking with the manager we discovered that he really didn't care - he said "I'm sorry" and "I'll get you another plate" well we left with Larry not having eaten..... we took Stephen to his meeting place and dropped him off (making sure he was set of course) He is presently on is way (flying) to Germany!!!
We stopped at Columbia Riverwalk and were very impressed - a nice place to take bikes and maybe even a picnic lunch! Then, Larry and I stopped at Applebees to grab a bite to eat; we got there just after a graduation party left, the hostess said they were just going to clean some tables, but we waited for over 15 minutes, heck, the manager even said it would just be a minute or two! Well we ended up leaving after another 10 minutes! Another couple left right behind us. We ended up at Lizard Thicket restaurant and low and behold there was that same couple from Applebees! how funny was that! We filled our tummies and came home.
Well enought for now, I haven't blogged only because I have been busy with my business... it's really doing well and I praise God for all He has done for us!
Hae a great day!

A new ride
Well - as my Paramedical Exam Business gets going, Larry and I decided that I needed something dependable..(I was driving the '04 Ford Ranger and Larry was not comfortable with me driving it for various reasons)... This car has no bells and whistles but still roomy and this is what I chose! Nissan Altima had some models with all the fluff but I really didn't need anything but a reliable vehicle. Signed the papers and brought it home about 2 hours later!
We took a ride tonight and we watched 100 miles roll on! I know that's silly but it's a minor milestone as there will be many many miles to come!

Wonderful weekend with great friends
Our company just left... sad to see them go but we had an awesome time with them. Larry sold our ground control the Archie and Barb Prince. The boys spent Friday putting the system on Archie and Barb's 3250TS Big Country. While the boys worked, Barb and I went to an exam I had already scheduled. LOL we were in a sort of remote part of Bishopville which was only actually about 14 mile from home. I did the exam and we headed home. Barb had already made chili and so I made garlic biscuits and we invited Michael (my son) and Matt (Larry's son) to dinner. After dinner Barb had a cranberry pie that was very very awesome tasting!
Archie and Barb were going to leave Saturday but they decided to stay one more night and we were glad they did Barb and I went out to get pizza and to hit the couple of antique stores in town; sadly they were closed on Saturday so we went to Michael's and picked up one of the twins Michael! (sound like a lot of Michael's on our family but it's not too bad!) I guess everyone was so wound up from putting on the ground control that none of us slept very well Friday night; Saturday night was no problem! Everyone slept well and we were all rested.
Nice to have friends and the space in back yard by our back door!
We are blessed to have met so many Christian friends!
God's way is the only way.... talk to Him as you do your very best friend! Cause He is!!!

Celebrating the New Year with friends
Happy New Year! 2011 is almost gone and in 45 minutes it will begin a new year!
Travelling grace for those on the road and God's blessings to all our friends, family and acquaintances!
We have taken our first trip to Ocean Lakes Camp Ground! A little tight for our taste but our friends like this camp ground! And we are close to the beach! A little noisy tonight as almost the whole campground is on the beach shooting fireworks!
Dru, Heather, and Stephen came to spend the night Thursday, we got to meet Stephen's girl friend Summer; a very sweet and pleasant young lady!
We had stuffed Jalepeno's and delivered them to our friends yesterday and then Larry wanted to have a cookout... so we fixed Portabela mushroom swiss burgers and everyone brought side dishes! We ended up with about 20 people here! It was great to be around so many friends. One of our friends Lance brought his fire pit here and we shared a camp fire! Then it started getting a little chilly so everyone dispersed to their campers to get warm; meanwhile we were warming by the fire until the Class A wanted to park his rig on the site we were using LOL we got everything moved quickly.
All in all it was a great time... kids are leaving in a minute and we will have the rest of the weekend to be with friends.
Saturday we watched the Polar Bear Club run into the ocean! There were about 250 people including children; it was warm though! A nice 68 degrees and the water was 58 degrees so it wasn't so very bad! - We however did not partake in the festivities! We only watched!
Awesome camper we are really enjoying the extra room and all the little extras we have now. This will be the one we take full time! Woooo Hooooo!
Later! Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! Thank you God for allowing us to be part of your kingdom!
Loving the Lord and all praise to Him!

New Camper!
We bit the bullet! Our new camper arrives Thursday, we bought the Landmark Mesa 2012 model.... It's considerably bigger than our present Big Country 3250TS by about 7-8 feet! IT has everything we both wanted in a camper and we have taken all our stuff out of the Big Country and are anxiously awaiting the new one to arrive.......
It's outside color scheme is Chocolate! How cool is that! Here's a few pictures....
An island! Wooo Hoooo! lots of counter space! All leather furniture..... facing entertainment center are the recliners.
Steps away from the entry door! Always a plus! Still a lot of storage in here too!
King bed! lots of storage - even under the bed has storage! Shoes no long will be on the floor! There's a shoe rack at the back of the closet!
The washer is located in the middle of the the camper in the bathroom so it's not on the pin, going to be so much nicer!
Three more days! Yup! EXCITED!
